Lekhnath, Nepali Congress (NC) general secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa urged the party leaders and the people’s representatives to engage their efforts for peoples’ works whether that be in or outside the government.

In his address to the 41st BP Memorial Day programme today organized by NC Kaski in Pokhara, general secretary Thapa said the NC leaders and cadres should work in favour of the people in the period of four years and prepare the base for winning 2084’s general election.

“NC is the largest party. People’s aspirations and hope also rest on the party”, Thapa said, adding, “If we do not show with performance in the present, the results of election to be held after four years may not be in NC’s favour”.

He urged all 866,000 active members of the NC to reach out to the doorsteps of the people and give company in their happy and unhappy moments.
